Foster creativity, solve problems, invent something new, make something together!
Each Family STEM Challenge session is composed of three parts: hear a popular STEM-themed children’s story, participate in an engineering challenge as a family, and spend time in the Family Discovery Center.
The Discovery Center is traditionally only open on Sundays. Your ticket grants you exclusive access to the space to enjoy an open-ended activity to compliment the day’s family STEM challenge.
We’ll feature a new story and family engineering challenge each day! Create a tower, birdfeeder, house, maze, and more – join us for one day, or all four. Participants are welcome to take their creations home to continue the engineering process, too.
We think kids ages toddler to teen would most enjoy this experience. It is specifically designed for families to participate in together; all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets required for participants (adults and children ages 2+):
- $12/person – members
- $15/person – non-members
To provide the best possible experience, sessions are limited to 20 participants.
Ready to join us? Tickets only available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Front Desk each morning between 10:00am – 10:30am. Program runs 10:30am – 12:00pm on December 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th (Wednesday through Saturday.)
