The Institute of Science and Cranbrook Art Museum are teaming up for FREE Third Thursday! Visitors can receive free admission to Cranbrook Institute of Science from 5:00 – 8:00pm AND Cranbrook Art Museum from 11:00am - 8:00pm, courtesy of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.
This month’s event will explore the science behind water and color:
- What happens to water after it soaks into the ground? Explore the hidden journey underground.
- Experiment with color and light for fascinating results.
- Craft your own diffraction monocle to take home.
- And more!
And check out our newest exhibit, Galileo: Scientist, Astronomer, Visionary. This exhibition is open during regular museum hours and has an additional cost of $5 - $8 per person.
