Due to the weather forecast the Partial Solar Eclipse will not be visible during our event on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Viewing of the partial solar eclipse from the Observatory and through telescopes from members of the Warren Astronomical Society will not be available.
The museum will still be open on Saturday, October 14 from 10:00am - 5:00pm so we invite you to still come out and see us!
Experiences available during your visit:
- View a live stream of the partial solar eclipse from the Observatory. The live stream viewing is free with the purchase of general admission.
- Check out our newest, traveling exhibit: Galileo: Scientist, Astronomer, Visionary. - Explore the science behind solar eclipses at our Acheson Planetarium program, Michigan Sky Tonight. Tickets to the planetarium can be purchased at the front desk upon arrival.
