Crime Scene Science Investigation
Overnight Program: Saturday, March 14, 2026 5:45pm-8:00am
Can you crack the case? Grab some pizza then jump into workshops to build your detective skills:
- Memory
- Fingerprinting
- Blood analysis
- Other evidence
Next, it’s time to investigate the crime scene! Collect evidence, analyze clues, assess suspects, and collaborate with your team. Who do YOU think is the culprit? Plus, take home a special gift—a secret message communicator!
For the Evening program, doors open at 5:30pm for check-in and pizza dinner. The fun kicks off at 6:00pm and wraps up by 9:00pm.
For Overnight program, enjoy all the fun of our Evening program, then roll out your sleeping bags and settle in for a night surrounded by our exhibits. Late-night snacks and a movie make the Overnight adventure even more exciting! Doors open at 5:45pm for check-in and pizza; programming begins promptly at 6:15pm and concludes with breakfast and departure by 8:00am.
If you're involved in Scouting, this program fully meets the requirements for the following badges: Junior Detective (Girl Scouts) and Bear Forensics (Cub Scouts).
Special Cranbrook Institute of Science patches are available at the door for $5.
Overnight Program:
- Member Adults/Children: $85 per person
- Non-Member Adults/Children: $100 per person
