Scouting at Cranbrook for Cadette Girl Scouts

Please note:

Trees ($15)
May 4 || 6-8pm
Be a naturalist in the discovery of trees. Learn ways to identify amazing trees through bark, leaves and shape. Study the many uses humans have for trees and how we can help trees flourish.

Scouting at Cranbrook for Boy Scouts

  • {F} Indicates Scouts should be First Class rank or higher for these workshops.

Archaeology {F} ($25)
Nov. 21 || 9am-Noon
Experience first-hand what goes into, and comes out of, an archaeological dig. Interpret artifacts found at a local historic site and explore some of Cranbrook’s incredible collections.

2 hour workshop

Adventures in Science ($15) 
Dec. 12 || 2:30-4:30pm;  Jan. 16 || 2:30-4:30pm;  Mar. 19 || Noon-2pm;  Apr. 13 || 6-8pm
Scientific adventures begin with asking questions. Scouts, as scientists, will both ask and discover how to answer questions of “how” and “what” through engaging experiments. Areas of study will include chemistry, astronomy, and physics.
