These single and multi-day programs for 4th through 6th graders are developed by Institute experts incorporating Michigan Elementary Science Benchmarks. Subjects are taught through a variety of techniques including both lectures and hand-on activities.
Programs are offered Sept. 24, 2007 – April 17, 2008. Special three-day MEAP testing preparation programs for 5th graders are available Sept. 24 – Oct. 5, 2007.
Multi-day program
Science Adventure A-Z
A three-day, fifteen-hour experience offers three consecutive days at the Institute of Science to experience different scientific topics, exploring everything from Astronomy to Zoology. Students experience the scientific method as they participate in course study utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.

These programs consist of four one-hour sessions at the Institute of Science. Subjects include Physics, Earth Day and Anthropology.
What is the cost?
The cost is $52.50 per student for the three day Science Adventure A-Z! Single day programs are $17.50 per student. One adult is required for every ten students while on-site at Cranbrook (admitted free), additional adults are $8 per day.
Registration Information
YRegister online or phone us at 248 645.3210. You must choose at least three potential on-site dates, at the time of your reservation. Pre- and post-visit will be arranged via telephone after your onsite dates have been assigned.
Registration confirmation will be emailed within 2 business days upon receipt. In order to hold your dates, a non-refundable deposit of $500 must be received within two weeks of registration confirmation. This deposit will be deducted from your total bill. Balance of payment is due upon arrival.
