Field trips to the Institute of Science offer GLCE-aligned programs, objects and artifacts from around the world and hands-on scientific experiences! New programs in 2009 - 10 are designed to bring science to life! Visit the Institute in Sept. or Oct. and get one FREE program for every paid program booked. All programs can be adjusted to meet the needs of your classes. Grade level designations reflect the objectives covered in the Grade Level Content Expectation (GLCEs).
Book one get one free excludes Premium Programming.
- Available September 21, 2009 through June 11, 2010, Monday - Friday, unless otherwise noted.
- Teachers are free! One chaperone is admitted free for every five students in grades 1 - 12 and for every three preK and kindergarten students.
- Programs typically run 30 minutes or 45 minutes in length.
- The minimum size for a group is 20 people.
- We suggest booking your museum visit as far in advance as possible.
- Guarantee your reservation with a non-refundable deposit.
- No discounts on group field trips for Cranbrook or ASTC members.
