LADDERS: Learning and Developing Distance Education Resources for Science - provides expert science-content and inquiry-based learning experiences using videoconferencing technology. Our current audience is Middle School science teachers and their students. Some financial support is available for the costs of programs presented under this grant. Financial Support Opportunities
Cranbrook Institute of Science seeks to bring quality science education programs to the broadest possible audience. Thanks to the support of many different foundations and businesses, support for programs is periodically available. Cranbrook Institute of Science currently focuses support on Pontiac School District, Southfield Public Schools and Detroit Public Schools.

For Title I, Title II and E.L.L. School Teachers in Other Districts
At certain times funding for area public schools is available. Such support is determined based upon the percentage of students eligible for the Federal Free School Lunch program. You will need to fill out a short request form, available on this website, or by requesting the form by telephone or e-mail. These requests are reviewed and a determination for funding is made individually as they are received.
