MEMBER ONLY EVENT: Science! The Hot and Cold of It

Our Science! The Hot and Cold of It Member only event brings together the Institute’s best and brightest in a star-studded night of fun and science. Members will take a trip through time to examine Michigan – from its glacial ice age to its tropical reefs, explore volcanos – from Hawaii to Michigan and the ice moons of Neptune and Saturn, and observe the wonders of the cosmos.  No RSVP required.

This event will give Members an in-depth look at the museum, a guided tour of our exhibit, an opportunity to enjoy the Cranbrook Observatory, and much more!

ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • A guided tour of Dinosaurs - The Lost World and the unveiling of a newly discovered dinosaur;
  • A chance to explore Michigan’s night sky in the Cranbrook Observatory;
  • And a Member favorite - liquid nitrogen ice cream.

THROUGHOUT THE EVENING:

  • Entertaining and educational hands-on activities for families;
  • Institute staff will be stationed throughout the museum ready to answer your questions;
  • Member specials in the Science Shop and Reflections Cafe.
