Dino Prep Lab Days are Here!

Cranbrook Institute of Science is offering its popular Dino Prep Lab activity from 1 to 4 PM on select Saturday afternoons in the winter and early spring – the dates are February 15, March 8, April 12 and May 10. Visitors will have the opportunity to help remove and conserve real 69 to 66 million year old fossils of dinosaurs and related animals from Late Cretaceous rocks of the Lance Formation in Eastern Wyoming. On April 12, john Zawiskie will present Evolution of the Prehistoric Great Lakes, a lecture about the discovery of a prehistoric forest bed unearthed in Alpena. These events are FREE with admission.
