In the Shadow of the Dinosaurs

November 15, 2013 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Cranbrook Institute of Science

Paleontologist and Adjunct Curator of Paleontology at Cranbrook Institute of Science John Hankla will discuss his twenty years of exploration of the prolific Late Cretaceous fossil beds of the Lance Formation of eastern Wyoming. John will discuss how one of the last dinosaur communities on Earth lived, and the critical role played by his diminutive field crew – the western harvester ant – in recovering the teeth and other bones of the small animals in the community.

The Chronicles of Laramidia lectures are free and seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
