Members are invited to celebrate the discoveries and life of Charles Darwin -- the man who first described biological evolution via natural selection with scientific rigor. The Institute will offer a special lecture and snacks to celebrate the 203rd anniversary of his birth. Additional programming will include hands-on activities, Science Shop discounts, and more!
The Member preview will offer an opportunity to experience Cranbrook’s Acheson Planetarium with a viewing of Natural Selection. Complimentary tickets will be available to the first 225 Member Night attendees; no advance reservation required.
The Institute’s rare first edition On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection will be on display!
Light Refreshments will be served. Additionally, Reflections Café will be open until 7:30 pm and will offer a special Member meal deal.
